About The Training

Dear Two-Way Bilingual Immersion/Dual Language Colleagues,

We welcome you to the network of Two-Way & Dual Language Educators from throughout the United States!

We are excited to convene 200 new and novice teachers and administrators to Two-Way/Dual Immersion programs this Summer in Burlingame in an effort to help you prepare for the upcoming Fall semester with your new classes, your new school and your wonderful new students!

The Association of Two-Way & Dual Language Education (ATDLE) continues to bring excellent teacher and administrator training opportunities to Two-Way Bilingual Immersion and Dual Language Programs throughout California and the U.S. We are so excited to return to the San Francisco/Bay Area to bring you this very exciting New Teacher/ Administrator Institute to our colleagues in Burlingame, CA on July 29-31, 2018.

Registration Fees

This two-day institute costs $425 and includes:
  • A Reception on Sunday night
  • Breakfast and Lunch on Monday and Tuesday
  • Foundations of Two-Way & Dual Language Programs
  • How to prepare yourself, your classroom, your community for the Fall
  • Practical tips for scheduling, curriculum, classroom design, curriculum, etc.
  • Networking opportunities with other TWBI/DI teachers and principals
  • And so much more.

We will be bringing you experienced TWBI Program experts to share their knowledge on how to start off on your journey this Fall. We know you cannot do it alone and that the first years of implementation of a TWBI/DL program are often the most challenging. We will provide you with the Foundations of TWBI Education, as well as practical and relevant information for your classroom and your school.

We are excited about meeting you this Summer and hope that you and your team are able to join us for this unique and vital professional development opportunity. Looking forward to meeting and working with you!

Registration Policy

All Attendees must register online whether they pay by check or credit card. All funds must be received by July 13, 2018. Any registrations with unpaid balances as of July 13, 2018 will be released to other potential attendees.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and substitutions must be submitted by email to There will be no refunds for cancellations made after July 1, 2018 and because of the pre-ordering of meals and materials, we adhere closely to this policy.

Purchase Order Policy

All purchase orders must be paid in full by July 13, 2018 in order for an attendee’s registration spot to be guaranteed and not released to other potential attendees.
