    Richard is an administrator at Roberto and Dr. Francisco Jiménez Elementary school: a TK-8th grade school in the Santa Maria-Bonita School District. Richard worked closely with Rosa Molina and many community citizens to start Santa Maria-Bonita School District’s first Dual Language Program at Jiménez in 2014. Richard received his BA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. He then received his MA from the University of La Verne, along with an Administrative Services Credential. Richard is an advocate for meeting the educational needs of all students. He is a firm believer of research-based strategies on best practices and interdisciplinary approaches. Richard strongly believes that it is his moral obligation to lead by example. He loves to empower students and teachers to be risktakers. Richard demonstrates passion for all that he does, and he hopes that his love for learning continues to project onto others, and that they strive to set high expectations for themselves.
