Shoonya Kids is an award-winning, game-based multilingual learning platform transforming early education across California. Designed for TK–2nd grade, Shoonya supports English Learners, English-only students, and Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs through culturally inclusive, play-based learning experiences that reflect the diversity of our classrooms.
Built on the RITEC Framework, Shoonya Kids stands out for being:

ATDLE and Avant share the mission of improving the teaching and learning of languages and recognizing and honoring language learning by all students.
Effective standards-based proficiency assessment can incentivize learners by providing access to Seals of Biliteracy and college credit (STAMP is recommended by the American Council on Education for college credit).
Professional Learning training that supports the effective analysis and use of testing data to improve learner outcomes, and training tools that increase the operational knowledge of the proficiency standards will improve teaching and learning for the ATDLE conference attendees and consulting clients of ATDLE (Designees).

Culturally Relevant Spanish Literacy for K–12 Dual Language Classrooms
BeeReaders is the first Spanish-first K-12 literacy development program serving dual language and bilingual schools. With authentic and culturally relevant content and an MTSSaligned approach, BeeReaders advances Spanish reading skills by 15% in a year when used 2-3 times a week, each time for 15 minutes.
