2019 Conference

The 27th Annual Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Conference will be held from Thursday, October 3rd through Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno Nevada. We are excited to begin our preparations for this wonderful gathering of TWBI/DL educators. This conference will offer powerful keynote speakers and innovative breakout sessions led by leaders in the Two-Way & Dual Language Education.  Dozens of exhibitors and vendors throughout the conference space will showcase the latest instructional materials and programs for you to review.

2019 Conference Fees
& Group Registrations

Base Registration Price Optional Add-Ons
$585 Before April 30, 2019 Additional Dinner Dance Ticker – $35
$615 After April 30, 2019 Pre-Conference Institutes – $175

Our event registration system only allows registrations of 10 or fewer attendees at a time. If your school site or district plans to send more than 10 people you may need to fill out multiple group registrations. Your district can pay for multiple registrations with the same check, but we ask that a copy of the confirmation and name for each registrant be included with the payment.

2019 Room Block

We have a room block at the Grand Sierra Resort for the conference!

Room rates range from $69 – $164 per night based on day and style of room.  Rates are available until 8/29/19 based on space availability.  *Please note that a 1 night non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of reservation for each room to be held.

Attendees with special dietary needs should let us know by filling out that section on your registration form.  Please note that your registration fee includes five meals:  Friday breakfast, lunch and Celebration Dinner / Dance, Saturday breakfast and lunch. You are responsible for all of your meals on Thursday and should plan accordingly.  There are many eateries and restaurants in the actual resort for your convenience.

Purchase Order Policy

We understand that many districts pay for conference registrations through purchase orders.

If your school site or district uses purchase orders, we are happy to work with you!  Please let your district’s fiscal or business office know that the final payment form is due by no later than September 13, 2019.

There will be no refunds for cancellations made after September 1, 2019 and because of the pre-ordering of meals and conference materials, we will adhere closely to this policy.  There is no fee for substitutions.
