Public Comment for Draft World Languages Standards

On July 26, 2018, the Instructional Quality Commission (IQC) took action to  begin the public review and comment period for the draft World Languages (WL) Standards. The public review and comment period is an opportunity for any and all interested individuals or organizations to provide comments and suggested edits to the IQC. Those comments and suggestions will inform the IQC’s actions at its November 15-16, 2018 meeting, at which it will consider recommending the draft WL Standards to the State Board of Education for adoption  in January 2019.

The Instructional Quality Commission and the State Board of Education welcome your review and comments on the draft WL Standards.

The comment period is open from August 1 through September 30, 2018, at 3 p.m.

Please access the World Languages Standards web page for more information.
